| Remote
event submission: You may have an unlimited number of login accounts
for access to submit events over the web. Optionally, you can make the event
submission feature publicly available, requiring no login. Each login
account defined can be flagged for auto import or configured to quarantine
events pending a manual review at which time they can be approved and
imported or deleted. For example, you could define five login accounts that
have access to the remote submission - you and four others. you could flag
your personal login account to import submitted events atomically while the
others would require a manual review prior to being imported into the
calendar. back to the top |

Importing other calendar data: Most programs including MS Outlook,
can export comma delimited files so you can often use this format as a
common format for importing events into your web calendar. The minimum
fields to import are the event's name and date, but you can also import a
clickable URL location, description, start and end time.

years 100 to 1999. The calendar start date can be the current date or any
date between 100 and 9999. Calendars can be generated for the web to display

Merge to Alliance
Town Square Community Calendar: Letter Perfect Communications
maintains a community
calendar on The Alliance
Town Square as a community service. This calendar is for the public's
use in coordinating community events so as not to plan too many events for
one day. it is a community service and there is no paid advertising plus to
fee to list an event. Your web's calendar can automatically merge to this
calendar, if you wish.

Merge your
various calendars into one master calendar: This would be useful for
an organization that wanted to crate a separate calendar for each
department, while having a master calendar that included events from each of
the other calendars. Two people can work on separate calendars -- and a
third calendar merges events from the two for a master calendar. |
| Private event
options: Events marked as private will not be displayed on calendar
pages or imported into other
mergeable
calendars.

| Customizable
templates: All calendars are based on user-defined templates. A
template defines how the calendar will look to the browser. You may want to
include your corporate colors, web-ready fonts and graphics, plus you may
choose to include weekends and which day of the week to start each calendar
on. What an easy way to dispose of bad Mondays! back to the

| Customize events:
Each event can be customized with a long and a short name plus a detailed
description of the event including graphics and clickable links. Events will
appear in a popup box unless you decide to allow detailed descriptions to
appear in your
scrolling page format for longer pages. Other HTML can be included in
your event description, but this does require some programming knowledge.
Event descriptions may also include start and stop times and a location. You
may also choose if your default page for the calendar's home page is a
scrolling page format
or a
monthly calendar table format. back to the top |

Dedicated mailbox for moderation: Events submitted from your
calendar will be sent via an email account. You may want to do this if you
want to be notified by email when someone has submitted an event for your
calendar. This email account must be dedicated for the calendar, however
items can automatically be forwarded to another account you check regularly.
If you have more than one calendar, each calendar must have it's own email
account. You can even add your own custom fields to the event submission
form for your own purposes. These custom fields will not appear on the
calendar. back to the top |
| Recurring events:
This option allows you to define a pattern including daily, weekly,
monthly and yearly events. Each range setting has a variety of options to
fit any recurring event need, such as "Never," "After this many occurrences"
and "After this date." If you have a date the recurring event should not
occur, that is available also. back to the top |
| Backup and
restore: Your calendar data will be backed up on a regular basis,
along with your website and I-mail data each week at no additional fee. We
recommend you also keep a record of important dates on your PC for
additional security. back to the top |
